From Cannes to Deauville: Cinema continues its journey to the 52nd American Film Festival
I’LL BE GONE IN JUNE – Katharina Rivilis Autre premier film passé par Un Certain Regard à Cannes 2026, I’ll Be Gone in June de Katharina Rivilis sera également en compétition à Deauville. The Golden Palm on the Magnum Beach in the presence of many talents

For this last night on the Croisette, the mythical space of the 50 boulevard de la Croisette had the immense honour of welcoming the winners of the Official Awards of the 79th Cannes Festival, gathered to celebrate together the end of this unforgettable edition. The Palm of Gold crown Fjord of Cristian Mungiu This is the event of this closing evening: Romanian director Cristian Mungiu, Palme d'Or 2007 for 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days, received the supreme reward for Fjord, his punched film on immigration and faith, carried by Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve. The entire cast and team of the film was gathered on the Magnum Beach to share this rare moment of emotion, between the fires of the sea and collective euphoria. An evening at the height of a Palm. Award of the Stage Show (ex-æquo) for La Bola Negra des Javis... With Penelope Cruz One of the most festive moments of the evening cannot be silenced: the arrival on the Magnum Beach of Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the iconic Javis, awarded the Prix de la mise en scène ex-æquo for La Bola Negra, in the company of an absolutely sparkling Penelope Cruz, main actress of the film. LUKAS DOWN RECEIVES THE PRICE OF THE POSITIF CINEMA 2026 FOR ITS COWARD FILM©
This Friday, May 22, on the CNC beach in Cannes, as part of the Positive Cinema Week, Belgian director Lukas Dhont received the Positive Cinema Award 2026 for his new feature film Coward, presented in Official Competition at the 79th Cannes International Film Festival. The prize was presented to him by Jacques Attali, founding President of Positive Cinema Week, and Estelle Lefébure, patron of this 11th edition, also in the presence of Sam Bobino, co-founder and managing director of Positive Cinema Week. Awarded each year to a film work with a humanist look at the world and helping to change consciousness through the values of transmission, inclusion, resilience or commitment, the Prize for Positive Cinema distinguishes a cinema capable of inspiring change while celebrating the strength of emotion and narrative. With Coward, Lukas Dhont delivers a deeply sensitive and deeply human film that questions the notions of masculinity, courage and freedom in the brutal context of the First World War. Through the story of two young soldiers seeking to preserve their humanity, their sensitivity and their ability to love at the heart of chaos, the director proposes a luminous work on fraternity, tolerance and intimate resistance to violence and thus opposes art and love to horror and barbarity. Already rewarded in Cannes for Girl (2018 Positive Cinema Award), then Close, Lukas Dhont confirms with Coward the singularity of a committed, delicate and universal work

During the Cannes 2026 Festival, the legendary Plage Magnum once again confirmed its status as a must-see place for the Croisette evenings. Among the highlights of this edition 2026, the evening dedicated to the film Clarissa brought together a part of the team of the feature film directed by the brothers Arie Esiri and Chuko Esiri, presented this year at the Filmmakers' Fortnight 2026. L.RAPHAEL presents a new era of skincare and longevity at the Cannes Film Festival 2026
A timeless youth on the L.RAPHAEL red carpet at the 79th Cannes International Film Festival On the occasion of the 79th Cannes International Film Festival, Le Blog de Cannes also took the time to live a more calm and well-being-oriented parenthesis. Invited to a beachfront lunch by the Maison L.RAPHAEL Geneva, I had the pleasure of talking with Sylvie Burnet about the new products presented this year by the Swiss brand specialized in upscale care, well-being and longevity. In the effervescence of the Festival, between screenings, evenings and rendezvous on the Croisette, this meeting offered a more soothing moment combining elegance, innovation and the art of premium skincare, in a very Cannoese Riviera atmosphere. This year, L.RAPHAEL puts particular emphasis on its new MMZ01 LED mask "Molecular Skin Rejuvenation", thought to be a new generation of home beauty technology. The mask combines several LED wavelengths to accompany rejuvenation of the skin, stimulation of collagen, hydration and shine of the complexion. Although I have unfortunately not yet had the opportunity to test it during the Festival, it is clear that after several days of very short evenings and nights in Cannes, this type of care could quickly become a valuable ally to recover shine and skin recovery. Beyond technology, its design immediately caught my attention. Unlike some sometimes locking models, the MMZ01 was designed with a system of openings allowing a better

Magnum beach opens with elegance and glamour: fashion show haute couture by Victor Weinsanto and exclusive showcase by Adèle Castillon from 14 May during the Cannes Festival

La Maison de Pompadour, a new address that made live beautiful private evenings of the Cannes Festival
Every year, the Cannes Film Festival sees the creation of new places where producers, directors, artists and film professionals meet. While some addresses are already essential, others create surprise by offering a different, more intimate and exchangeable atmosphere. Among the great discoveries of this 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Blog de Cannes had the pleasure of discovering the Maison de Pompadour, an elegant setting with a floral spirit that hosted several private events throughout the fortnight. Designed as a real reception place dedicated to film and creative professionals, this space quickly found its place among the most popular events of the festival. An evening around the film If you think of Géraldine Nakache We had the pleasure of attending the evening organized on the occasion of the preview of the film If you think so, directed by Géraldine Nakache. Presented in the Cannes Première selection of the Cannes 2026 Festival, this Franco-Belgian feature film brought together part of his team before prolonging the festivities at the Maison de Pompadour in a particularly warm and festive atmosphere. Far from the hustle and bustle of the Croisette, the villa offered an elegant setting where everyone could easily exchange, between landscaped garden, floral decoration and garden furniture.

Pop Up Influence in Cannes: Anthony Ghnassia presents Sound of Silence on the Croisette
