Last party at Chivas house with Thierry Fremaux
It is at the end of a 10-day marathon that this 65th Cane Festival ends! After the ceremony and a buffet at the Agora (a tent behind the palace) Thierry Fremaux came with Lauent Gerra (Gang des Lyonnais, lol) for a last drink at Chivas House. We were able to meet Bérénice Béjo, Serge Hazavicius, Christian Mongiu and his lovely actresses, and the most valiant continued at the Vip room to see Justice or like Michel Rebichon waiting the little day on the Baron's terrace! Tonight after the ceremony first call to.. James Bond! Royal Madds actor little known to the general public (but who played the villain at James Bond in Casino Royale in 2006), won the Men's Performance Award for his role as a man unjustly accused of paedophilia in The Hunting, by Thomas Vinterberg. 46-year-old actor, « Very affected », said his « surprise » also – he has returned hastily from Bucharest where he is in filming–, apologized for not speaking French « except when I drink – but not now ». Good surprise with the return of the sun the representative Miko, made us a surprise by sending to the Carlton a refrigerator filled with new ice creams to drink Café Zero at the Cappuccino where espresso, which made us happy with all the champagne that sank during this fortnight on the Croisette ! As every year VIP Belgium and our friend Alexandre Bodar Pinto are at the heart of the Cannes festival news. This year, for the 65th edition, VIP Belgium is partnering with Sea Shepherd for a great charity evening on the renowned beach of Hotel Martinez. Florence Cymerman, member of Sea Shepherd came to Cannes to raise funds for the causes defended by the association. The founder of Sea Shepherd Paul Watson, was arrested this week and is at risk of extradition to Costa Rica or death is waiting... In parallel with this evening's big event in Paris, VIP Belgium is hosting a great evening, many international personalities have confirmed their presence.
