The Palm of Gold crown Fjord de Cristian Mungiu
This is the event of this closing evening: Romanian director Cristian Mungiu, Palme d Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve. The entire cast and team of the film was gathered on the Magnum Beach to share this rare moment of emotion, between the fires of the sea and collective euphoria. An evening at the height of a Palm.

One of the most festive moments of the evening cannot be ignored: the arrival on the Magnum Beach Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the iconic Javis, awarded the Award of the Ex-æquo Scenery for La Bola Negra, accompanied by a Penelope Cruz absolutely sparkling, main actress of the film. Rires, brilliance, and glamour: their passage on the beach electrified the Cannoese night.
The presence of Lukas Dhont - Female Price for Coward
The male revelation of this festival has two faces: Emmanuel Macchia and Valentin Campaign, both rewarded for their upsetting performances in Coward, the new film by Belgian director Lukas Dhont (Close, Jury Prize 2022). A price of shared interpretation, rare and symbolic, greeted with a palpable emotion on the beach.
Without forgetting the presence of Xavier Dolan.

By welcoming these winners for this exceptional closing evening, the Plage Magnum confirms once again its status as a cinema in its own right, the one where the 7th art celebrates, shares and savors itself, in a unique atmosphere on the French Riviera.
