Every year, the Cannes Film Festival sees the creation of new places where producers, directors, artists and film professionals meet. While some addresses are already essential, others create surprise by offering a different, more intimate and exchangeable atmosphere.
Among the beautiful discoveries of this 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Blog had the pleasure of discovering the House of Pompadour, an elegant box with floral spirit that hosted several private events throughout the fortnight. Designed as a real reception place dedicated to film and creative professionals, this space quickly found its place among the most popular events of the festival.
A night around the movie If you think of Géraldine Nakache
We had the pleasure of attending the evening organized on the occasion of the preview of the film If you think soby Geraldine Nakache.
Presented in the Cannes Première selection At the Cannes Film Festival 2026, this Franco-Belgian feature film gathered part of his team before extending the festivities at Maison de Pompadour in a particularly warm and festive atmosphere.
Around Géraldine Nakache were present Niels Schneider, Monia Chokri and Clémentine Célariécome to share this moment with their partners, guests of the Festival and many film professionals.
Far from the bustle of the Croisette, the villa offered an elegant setting where everyone could easily exchange between landscaped gardens, floral decoration and refined reception spaces.
A place rhythmized by several events of the Festival
Over the days, the Maison de Pompadour has become the scene of several international events.
It hosted an evening dedicated to the actor Richard Lawson, bringing together producers, investors, creators and media around the launch of tequila Cava Don Anastacio and series Beauty in Blackcreated by Tyler Perry.
The venue also received the launch party of the American project Ride The Rhythm, by Craig Wallace, dedicated to the legacy of Chicago House music, before organizing a dinner cocktail around the film Vesna, Spring Lithuanian director Rostislav Kirpičenko, bringing together partners and film teams in a friendly atmosphere.

Throughout the Festival, several partners accompanied these receptions.
Among them, Champagne Pompadour Pommery and Gin Terra Distillery, which we had the pleasure of discovering and tasting... With moderation, of course! They were accompanied in particular by Zielinski & Rozen, Heliabrine Monaco, Pure essentials, Devil Advocate Alpine Water and other premium partners present during the various evenings.
