Cannes 2026 Festival : The list of parties, cocktails, concerts and events to follow
From 12-23 May 2026, the Cannes Festival is not only on the steps of the Palais. It extends on the Croisette, in private villas, on beaches, rooftops, boats and clubs where there are stars, producers, brands, media and guests sorted on the shutter.
This page brings together evenings, cocktails, concerts, dinners, event screenings and VIP appointments already identified for this edition 2026. It will be updated with confirmations, invitation cards, Instagram ads and last minute surprises.
In Cannes, many events remain voluntarily confidential. Places are sometimes indicated in an imprecise way: on the Croisette, in the heights, in the centre of Cannes, on a boat, on a beach or on a private rooftop. Those who have the official invitation know where to go.

Opening Ceremony of the Cannes Festival
May 12 marks the big opening of this edition 2026. La Croisette is set up for its opening ceremony, with its exceptional dinner, its cobblestone of stars sorted on the shutter and this very particular perfume of the VIP VIP.

On opening day, there are usually very few major competing events: the official opening of the Festival alone covers the whole evening and night.
Akili Mirari 2026 Opening Party
First big night spotted after the official opening, with a line-up announced around Mosimann and EEG.
Cinema of the Beach — Top Gun
Projection of Top Gun as part of the Cinema de la Plage.
The Fast and the Furious — midnight session
Event session around The Fast and the Furious, with presences announced as Diesel wine, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster.
Magnum House — opening and haute couture event
The Magnum House the 14th of May. The place announces an appointment around haute couture, glamour and the Magnum universe. A very anticipated private event on the Croisette.

AfroCannes takes place at the Villa of Ministers. For the evening party, a cocktail reception is announced at the end of the day.

AfroCannes plans an end-of-day sequence with cocktail and then after party at the Villa of Ministers.
AmfAR Gala Cannes 2026
The Myth AmfAR Gala Cannes 2026 is confirmed on Thursday, May 21. The event foresees performance of Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson and PinkPantheresswith Geena Davis as host and an afterparty DJ set by Honey Dijon.
11th Positive Cinema Week
Confirmed start of 11th edition of Positive Cinema Week, with films, short films, meetings and awards. The places announced: the beach of the CNC / the beach of the Gray d'Albion, Fnac street of Antibes and various places, from 21 to 23 May.

11th Positive Cinema Week
The Positive Cinema Week continues with its events around an engaged, inspiring and impact-oriented cinema. The programming is announced between the beach of the CNC/Plage du Gray d'Albion, the Fnac rue d'Antibes and various Cannois places.

Closing evenings of the Festival
The last evening of the Festival is played between official events, private villas, partner beaches, rooftops and boats. Confirmations often arrive very late.
Places to watch
Some venues do not reveal all their programming in advance. A new evening, cocktail, concert or dinner can be announced at the last moment.
