IGGY POP JOINS TROYE SIVAN AS A SUPPRISED IN THE CANNES MAGIUM® PLAGE
Quand la légende du punk rencontre la sensation pop, ça se passe à la Plage Magnum® à Cannes ! Cette fois-ci, c’était l’iconique Iggy Pop qui a fait une apparition surprise aux côtés de Troye Sivan lors d’une soirée mémorable animée par la drag queen française et icône culturelle, Nicky Doll. Imaginez la scène : les vagues de la Méditerranée en arrière-plan, une scène scintillante sur le sable, et Iggy Pop qui débarque pour rejoindre Troye Sivan. C’est un peu comme si votre crème glacée préférée avait une cerise, et que cette cerise s’avérait être un concert improvisé de deux stars mondiales. Pendant que Troye et Iggy partageaient des anecdotes croustillantes sur leurs carrières musicales respectives, les fans se sont transformés en DJs virtuels, votant en direct sur YouTube pour décider du prochain titre à sortir. On dirait bien que l’avenir de la musique passe par les plages et les glaces, qui l’eût cru ? La fête était en l’honneur de la campagne « Wherever Pleasure Takes You » de Magnum®. Pour célébrer, Magnum® a fait appel à Troye Sivan pour créer trois remixes de son single « Honey ». Chaque remix était une invitation à un voyage sensoriel, avec des ambiances distinctes : Euphoria pour se sentir sur un nuage, Wonder pour une exploration enchanteresse, et Chill pour, eh bien, chiller. Mais ce n’était que le début ! La soirée a continué sur les chapeaux de roues avec un showcase de Pierre Garnier, le gagnant de la Star Academy 2023, qui a enflammé la scène. Ensuite, Nicky Doll a repris les rênes avec une performance époustouflante, suivie d’un concert privé de la star internationale Mika. Et pour clore cette nuit magique, les maîtres du son électronique, Justice, ont pris le relais, transformant la plage en un véritable dancefloor. Parmi les invités, des stars comme Kelly Rutherford, Charli XCX, et le mannequin Romee Strijd ont ajouté une touche de glamour supplémentaire. Une chose est sûre, cette soirée à la Plage Magnum® restera dans les mémoires comme un mélange parfait de plaisir, de musique et de moments inattendus – comme trouver un petit morceau de chocolat dans votre glace quand vous ne vous y attendez pas. This year, the jury of film journalists awarded the English composer Mica Levi (Micachu) for Jonathan Glazer's film The Zone of Interest. For its 13th edition, the Golden Record of the Best Music of the Official Competition of the Festival ofCannes Soundtrack Award was presented in Cannes this Friday, May 26, 2023 to David Grumbach producer of the film and CEO Bac Films representing the composer. Welcome Party Cannes Festival at Majestic Beach
Dear readers, if you thought that the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival was going to be as predictable as a Hollywood action film, you must be mistaken! The welcome evening on Majestic beach was anything but conventional. By 8:30 pm, the evening started, not with the usual pop of a bottle of champagne, but with the refreshing pshhh of a Spritz helas cocktail, not very well prepared (see photo). But honestly, it just added charm to the event, giving a staggered note to this glamorous evening whose themed buffet was as beautiful as it was delicate for the palate. Live music then took over, adding notes of funk, jazz and hit to the Mediterranean Sea night symphony. The live band was absolutely electrifying, transforming the beach into a real open-air discotheque. The voices of the duo singers echoed the waves, creating an undeniable festive atmosphere. The evening continued with laughter, shrapnel and clumsy dance steps on the sand. At midnight, while the last notes of music fainted in the air, there was general satisfaction among the guests of the cinema. Yes, this year's welcoming evening may have lacked champagne, but it certainly showed a sparkling spirit and contagious joy. And isn't this the very essence of the Cannes Film Festival? A celebration of the unexpected, art and, above all, pleasure. This is an evening that will remain engraved in our memories. But then, you tell me, where were the gifts?
