It is always with pleasure that we meet our Thai friends every year.

A real ritual, when in the Carlton Salon we are waiting for the arrival of the Royal Princess of Thailand, who will preside over Gala Thai Night 2017 on May 18 in the Croisette Palace.

An evening celebrating Thai cinema during the 70th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival.

The evening will focus on Thai talent by giving an overview of the diversity of Thai artists and film professionals who shine around the world.

This year, the Thai Night will highlight DITP's desire to include the Thai film industry at the very centre of the Cannes Film Festival.

Meetings between Thai and international professionals will be held from 18 to 22 May to promote collaborations between nine Thai film companies and participants in the Film Market.

Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya is presiding over Thai Night 2017 – Where Films Come Alive, an event of celebration of Thai cinema and its industry organized on May 18th by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Royal Thai Ministry of Commerce.

In addition, Thai Business Matching Cannes 2017 is taking place from May 18th to May 22nd, giving the opportunity to the international film community to meet nine prominent Thai film companies.

Organized by DITP, Thai Business Matching Cannes 2017 will take place from May 18th to May 22nd at the Department of International Trade Promotion Booth, Palais Level 01 Booth No. 22.01.

Nine Thai film companies participate in the Business Matching and are available for meetings.
