THE LUXEMBOURG AT THE 64th CANNES FESTIVAL With « Giants » & The beach of Luxembourg
« Les Géants » a été réalisé par le liégeois Bouli Lanners et coproduit par Jani Thiltges chez Samsa Film.La production luxembourgeoise sera projeté en clôture de la « Quinzaine des réalisateurs » au 64e Festival de Cannes. Le tournage s’est déroulé en grande partie dans le nord du Luxembourg, région familière à Bouli Lanners puisque certains membres de sa famille en sont originaires. Les trois jeunes personnages sont campés par Zaccharie Chasserieaud, Martin Nissen et Paul Bartel et sont entourés, entre autres, de Marthe Keller, Karim Leclou et Didier Toupy. De nombreux techniciens luxembourgeois ont contribué au film: Philippe Kohn (chef son), Claudine Moureaud-Demoulling (maquillage), Carlo Thiel (1er assistant caméra), Claude Ludovicy (régie), Patrick Müller (photographe de plateau) ou encore Jean-Luc Simon (1er assistant montage).
