BNP Paribas launches an investment fund in Cannes to promote the emergence and support of 7th art talent

On the occasion of the 50th edition of the Directors' Fortnight, of which BNP Pari bas is the official partner, the Group wished to strengthen its commitment to the new cinematographic creation by launching « BNP Paribas New cinema talent », an investment fund that aims to meet the specific needs of these new talent. With an initial budget of EUR 1 million, « BNP Paribas New cinema talent » allow BNP Paribas to offer them tailor-made support and to participate in the financing of their first and/or second film, in a long-term approach.

On this occasion, the Cannes blog was invited by Jean-Laurent Bonnafé Director General of BNP Paribas for this private evening on the beach of the fifteen directors where many guests were present, personalities of the film field, but also partners and artists.
