The 71st Cannes Festival 2018 was completed Saturday night with the announcement of the list. The jury, chaired by Cate Blanchett, crowned Family business of Hirokazu Kore-eda, who wins the Palme d'or.

Jean-Luc Godard was rewarded with a Special golden palm, for his film The image book and its ability to continually reinvent art. This is the second prize the director receives at the Cannes Film Festival, four years after the Jury Prize for Farewell to language.

This year, for the first time in six years, no French films are listed.
