Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Béjot staged the steps for the screening of the silent film "The Artist" by Michel Hazanavicius.

« The Artist », with Jean Dujardin, brought this Sunday to Cannes a little joy in an official competition marked so far by heavy subjects (sexual violence, broken families).

In this silent film in black and white, French director Michel Hazanavicius recounts the dusk of a silent film star (Jean Dujardin) and the ascension of a young star of the speaker (Bérénice Béjo).

Then it was the couples who illuminated the crusette, with the Karine Sylla and Vincent Perez, the dresser Clovis Cornillac and his companion, Said Taghmaoui and Hofit Golan, or the very classy Melanie Doutey and Gilles Lellouche. The latter also accompanied the film team « The Artist » of which was part the sublime Alexandra Lamy and Jean Dujardin the hero of the evening!
