Since 2010, Cannes Soundtrack celebrates film music as an art in its own right. For his 15th anniversary, the event saw things in big, associating with the Cannes Festival to offer a vibrant tribute to one of the most singular filmmakers of our time: David Lynch.
Thursday, 15 May 2025, Cinema of the Beach turned into a magical scene to welcome a concert tribute to Lynch's musical universe, followed by unforgettable evening at Silencio, the mythical club created by Arnaud Frisch With the complicity of Lynch himself.

Chrystabell & Maxence Cyrin: Concert between mystery and grace
Under the canine stars, the public was able to discover a suspended moment: Chrystabell, lynchian muse and actress Twin Peaks: The Returndelivered both sensual and hypnotic performance. Enchanting, she performed titles in collaboration with David Lynch, between vaporous rock and dark ballads, accompanied by the talented Maxence Cyrin.
Maxence Cyrin, French pianist known for his elegant replays of contemporary pieces, added a dreamy touch to this already memorable evening. A perfect fusion between classical music, dream, and the strangeness of the lynchian universe.
CERRONE honored at Silencio
At the end of the concert, the festivities continued Silencio Cannes, in a warm and electric atmosphere. That's where CERRONE, world disco icon and pioneer of electronic music, saw the Cannes Soundtrack 2025 Honor Award.
A deserved recognition for the one who inspired generations of producers and DJs around the world. His contribution to the world soundscape, as well as his influence in the marriage between image and rhythm, is praised by the entire profession.
15 years of passion for film music
Created in 2010 by Vincent Doerr, Cannes Soundtrack has established itself as an essential event for the Festival. He pays tribute every year to composers who, in the shadows, sculpt the emotions of cinema.
The Golden Disc the best original music is presented by a jury composed of French and international film journalists. Together, they highlight the beauty, complexity, and necessity of the work of sound creators at the heart of 7th art.

This 15th anniversary will end in beauty with the delivery of the Gold Disc Cannes Soundtrack 2025, Friday 23 May on Miramar Beach, to reward the best soundtrack of the official selection.
