Cannes Soundtrack 2025: Golden Disc Awarded to Kangding Ray for SIRAT by Oliver Laxe

On Miramar beach, under the sun of Cannes, the music once again found its setting. The 15th edition of the prize Cannes Soundtrack has rewarded this Friday 23 May 2025 David Letellier, better known as Kangding Ray, for his enchanting score in the film SIRAT Director Oliver Laxedistributed by Pyramid.

This film work, carried by a trio of powerful actors — Sergi López, Bruno Núñez and Jade Outkid — mix adventure and contemplation in a sensory narrative sublimated by a vibrant, immersive and bold soundtrack.

An anniversary edition marked by legends

For this 15th anniversary edition, Cannes Soundtrack also celebrated the musical universe so singular of David Lynch with a exceptional tribute evening at Silencio, the mythical club imagined by Arnaud Frisch in complicity with Lynch himself. This evening Thursday, May 15, 2025 was also marked by the Presentation of an honour prize to the legendary French musician Cerrone, an essential figure of disco and electronic music.
