It is the French actor Lambert Wilson who will be at the centre of all attentions during the opening ceremony of the 67th Cannes International Film Festival on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
Indeed, the actor with the Franco-British phlegm, is a regular of the cruise and his wonderful annual appointment. He will liven up this sumptuous evening with humour and elegance.
Gilles Jacob, the president of the Festival, sold the wick on his Twitter account describing the actor as follows: »It is fine, elegant, cultivated and beautiful: the same class ». He succeeded Audrey Tautou as Master of Ceremonies.
In 2010, 55-year-old actor was honoured with the Jury Grand Prize for Film « Men and gods » Xavier Beauvois, in which he played a monk.
