THE 8TH WEEK OF THE CINEMA POSITIF CANNES 2023
« INCLUSION & COMMITMENT » The 8th edition of Positive Cinema Week will take place in Cannes, under the auspices of the International Film Festival, from 24 to 27 May and will be sponsored by actor and director Éric Judor. Created in 2016 and organized by the Positive Planet group chaired by Jacques Attali, in partnership with the CNC and the City of Cannes, the Positive Cinema Week (led by Sam Bobino) takes place every year in Cannes during the Inter-National Film Festival and devotes a cinema that changes our gaze on the world, questions its industry and puts its art at the service of future generations. The aim of the Positive Cinema is to challenge the spectator, to make him react and to rage to engage and act for a better world. THE WEEK OF CINEMA POSITIF, FOR WHAT? To provide a forum for engaged and alerting cinemas. Encourage film professionals to make films that make them want to engage to improve the world for the benefit of future generations. Include the event in the DNA of the Festival of Giving access to culture for all. Offer an event around the cinema, free, popular and open to all. THE WEEK OF THE CINEMA POSITIF 2023 Screenings of feature films and short films during the Cannes Film Festival (in partnership with TV5World, the City of Cannes and the MegaCities-ShortDocs and HelloPlanet festivals).
