Youth Ecotubers Award 2025

The Prix Jeunesse Ecotubeurs 2025, sponsored by actor and directorGérard Jugnot, returns for a fifth edition, to be held during the Cannes Film Festival. Organized in partnership with the Ministry of National Education and Culture in all academies. Since its creation in 2021, the Ecotubeurs offer young people the opportunity to make short films on climate and biodiversity issues.

In 2025, the Ecotubeurs Youth Prize opened up on a European and international scale, reinforcing its ambition to highlight the talents of tomorrow and to raise awareness among young people about environmental conservation.

The Jeunesse Ecotubeurs Award is intended for primary school students and high school students, who are accompanied by professionals from the audiovisual sector. Under the Culture Pass, creative workshops are held in schools. They include 7 hours of accompaniment to writing, shooting and editing.

Works made (1 to 5 minutes) can take various forms: fiction, report, clip, documentary, animation. All the films produced constitute the preselection for the Ecotubeurs Awards which this year reward the different categories:

    • Grand Prix Lycée
    • Grand Prix College
    • Grand Prix Primary School
    • Price Report
    • Music Award
    • Special Mention of the Jury Prize of Honor Mayotte
    • Agri-Ecotubeurs (agricultural establishment)
    • Eurotubers prices
    • International Prize

The jury will be chaired this year by Enora Hope, a young French director and actress, recognized for her shorts of science fiction on social networks. It imposes itself as a rising figure of independent and digital cinema.

In 2025, more than 200 institutions and 5 countries participated in Ecotubers, reflecting the growing success of the initiative.
