Life after Twilight passes through the Croisette. While the final part of the saga from Stephenie Meyer's novels is expected in theaters on November 18, her stars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, should make the paparazzi happy at the 65th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival. The comedians are featured in the credits of two films strongly screened in the official selection.
Kristen Stewart is part of the On the Road casting, adaptation of Jack Kerouac's novel by Brazilian director Walter Salles. She plays the role of Marylou, the young wife of Dean Moriarty, a writer inspired by Neal Cassady, legendary figure of the beat generation embodied on screen by Garret Hedlund. Robert Pattinson is the star of Cosmopolis of Canadian David Cronenberg. (see article above).
It remains to be seen whether young actors, in love with the city, will walk the steps of the festival palace together ??? To be continued...
