The Cannes Film Festival will host on May 23 its Jury de la Cinéfondation et des courtes films, which will be chaired this year by Jean-Pierre DARDENNE (Belgian director, screenwriter and producer) rewarded, with his brother Luc, in 2011, by the Grand Prix for the Kid by bike, after two Golden Palms in 1999 for Rosetta and 2005 Children and the 2008 scenario price for Lorna's Silence.
The jury, composed of five personalities from cinema and literature, will gather Arsine KHANJIAN (Canadian actress), Karim Ainuz (Brazilian director and screenwriter), Emmanuel CARTERE (French writer, screenwriter and director) and YU Lik-wai (Chinese director and director of photography).

They will have to choose from the films of cinema schools of the Cinéfondation Selection, the first three Awards, with 15,000€11,250€ and 7,500€. The Jury will award these awards on Friday 25 May in Cannes, during a Buñuel Hall ceremony, followed by the screening of the award-winning films. The jury will also have to designate the Palme d'or of the short film, presented at the closing ceremony of the Festival on Sunday 27 May.
