CANNES 2016: AmFar Di Caprio Gala and Village People!

During this 69th Festival, the amfAR gala brought together the cinema planet for a charity evening in favor of the fight against AIDS: One of the unmissable events of the Cannes Film Festival.

Kevin Spacey made the show on May 19 at the Eden Roc Hotel in Cape Antibes, where this traditional gala, a genuine canine institution organized on the margins of the Festival, was held in order to raise funds for the fight against AIDS as part of a glamorous evening where stars play the game of auction.

Leonardo DiCaprio, jurors at the 69th Cannes Film Festival, Vanessa Paradis, Kirsten Dunst and Mads Mikkelsen, among 950 international personalities, took part on Thursday evening in Cape d'Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes) at this prestigious evening. Kevin Spacey and Adrian Brody set up the auction, before a concert by American singer Katy Perry.

Uma Thurman, Faye Dunaway, Milla Jovovich, Eva Jerzigova, the triple world champion of F1 Lewis Hamilton and former tennis champion Boris Becker, had also responded to the call of the amfAR.

A sculpture by Damien Hirst, « Temple », was awarded 3.1 million euros, while a day with Kevin Spacey was won for 500,000 euros.

A Ferrari 458 customised in military camouflage found 1 million euro taker. Leonardo DiCaprio spent a week in his Palm Spring property for 12 people.
