Audrey Tautou was chosen to present the opening and closing ceremonies of the Cannes Film Festival.

A little more than a week before announcing the selection of films on April 18, alongside Thierry Frémaux, the president of the Cannes Film Festival had the privilege of unveiling one of the main actresses of the 66th edition.
Audrey Tauteu, on the poster of the Ecume des Jours, by Michel Gondry on 24 April next alongside Romain Duris, will indeed have the heavy task of presenting the opening evening, on 15 May next, as well as that of the list, on 26 May.
The actress revealed in 2001 by the Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain by Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a regular of the Croisette. She went there in 1999, then in 2006 to present RonHoward's Da Vinci Code, alongside Tom Hanks. Last year she presented Thérèse Desqueyroux at the close of the Festival.
