Official opening dinner of the Festival to celebrate the first film screened in competition, Moonrise Kingdom, in the presence of the entire team led by director Wes Anderson and the jury, in full. 600 guests in front of Agora all dressed in pink, close to the Festival Palace. Actors Bruce Willis and Bill Murray, as well as designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, have done well thanks to the exercise of autographs. On the menu, morillas and truffles with yellow wine, salmon and scallops with horseradish, Limousin veal shank and poached foie gras, before an impressive cube of light and individual ice containing a mousse of red fruit and licorice, with its madeleine with lavender honey. This afternoon Bruce Willis and Bill Murray arrived at the Palais on the Mouton Cadet terrace to kick off the 65th edition of the 2012 Cannes Film Festival with the screening of the movie Moonrise Kingdom, which will be released the same day in our dark rooms.
