The Municipal Archives of Cannes presents an exhibition dedicated to the links between the City and the legendary Cannes Festival. The beginnings of the Festival are traced: the year missed in 1939, the first Festival in 1946 in the difficult post-war context, but also the highlights of the following decades... Original documents, film posters, photographs and audio-visual extracts selected by the INA will allow you to relive the fabulous history of the Cannes Film Festival in an instructive way.
