Viewed by LoBO GraphiK: A tribute to Jeanne Moreau

Each year, the poster of the Cannes Film Festival arouses a special anticipation, captivating the collective imagination around glamour, cinematic art and world cinema icons. For 2025, LoBO GraphiK imagined an original creation that pays tribute to a must-see figure in French cinema: Jeanne Moreau. Inspired by the legend of cinema, this black and white poster draws its aesthetics from Jacques Demy's La Baie des Anges (1963). The image depicts Jeanne Moreau in an iconic pose, leaning on the table of a casino roulette, a cigarette lit in the right hand, his gaze slightly turned towards the lens. The scene evokes an atmosphere of mystery and sensuality, perfectly captured by the elegant and sleek photograph of the film. A bold and modern composition The poster is distinguished by an original and contemporary typography that balances the retro aspect of the film with a touch of modernity. The choice of clean lines and transparency in the police, always black, reinforces the visual contrast while highlighting Jeanne Moreau's central image. In the centre, a monumental number 7 appears large on the left side, covering the corner of the poster and extending to the margin, symbolizing the elegance and intensity of the casino universe. On the right, an 8 cut by the edge of the poster reinforces the visual effect by encircling the actress's face. This unique typographical choice places Jeanne Moreau's gaze between the two figures, creating a dynamic composition where her face is in perfect shape
