25 MAY: BRUCE WILLIS, NIRO AND SEAN PENN CLOSING THE FESTIVAL
For the Fence 3 Giants De Niro, Bruce Willis, Sean Penn on the Croistte, Robert will hand over the palm! For the closing, in a film by American filmmaker Barry Levinson, who will be entitled to the honours of the marches. Rainman's director hasn't convinced us since Wag the Dog in 1997. What just happened? is obviously to gather stars like Bruce Willis, Robert de Niro, Catherine Keener, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro, and... Sean Penn in his own role. Because this film, which was punctuated in Sundance earlier in the year, will prove to be a rather narcissistic exercise for the Cannes Film Festival, since one of the scenes of this adapatation of a book on the backstage of Hollywood studios takes place on the Croisette. CLOTURE OF THE 59TH FESTIVAL: CEREMONIA
CEREMONIE DE CLOTURE : It's the galley today, too flattered, restaurant, badoit... I have no place... Well, almost, just a little white card for a party after the ceremony, anyway, « safe house » In the front row behind the row of photographers who machine-gun is all right! No bowl, the channel manager more sits on the steps in front of me... I'm sitting right in front of Claudia Chiffer, Loupé for discretion... So much so we're gonna let go of the fence! Five Africans who come back from afar: Male Performance Award for »Indigenous » It would have been inconceivable to separate him because on the screen they are incarnate only one man: one of those 600,000 enlisted in the African army that greatly helped to free France from the Nazis in 1944, well played!
