The international reputation of Baron Philippe de Rothschild makes it naturally an official supplier for prestigious international events such as the Cannes International Film Festival, since 1991.
For this 72nd edition of the Cannes Festival, Baron Philippe de Rothschild will once again welcome wine lovers and 7th Art ans this unique place that is the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar located on the terrace of the Palais des Festivals.
Designed by the famous designer Mathias Kiss, guests of the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar will enjoy the incredible view of Cannes Bay on the roof of the Palais, while being at the heart of the Festival.

This year the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar will offer a new program full of surprises for 10 days, this unique terrace is a soft parenthesis, allowing a moment of breathing away from the frenzy of the Festival.
In 2018, after an opening accompanied by the warm voice of Keren Ann, Christopher Nolan came to celebrate the 50th anniversary of «2001: Space Odyssey» then Ron Howard accompanied by Joonas Suotamo, an actor who embodies the famous Chewbacca in Star Wars, in turn took advantage of the sweetness of the Cannoese evenings, joined by spationaute Thomas Pesquet; Finally Spike Lee chose the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar to host the press for his latest film « BlacKkKlansman » and celebrate his return to competition in Cannes.
Many other actors, producers, directors and movie figures took advantage of this magnificent terrasse.
Depuis 1933, la société familiale Baron Philippe de Rothschild, située à Pauillac au coeur du vignoble, est animée d’une ambition constante : produire parmi les meilleurs vins du monde. Des vins de Châteaux, comme l’illustre Château Mouton Rothschild, Premier Cru Classé, et ses vins de Marques, dont le célèbre Mouton Cadet, aujourd’hui le premier vin AOC Bordeaux consommé dans le monde créé en 1930 par le baron Philippe de Rothschild qui bien entendu est le vin qui accompagne les repas officiels du Festival de Cannes !
