After Daisy Edgar-Jones, Phoebe Dynevor and Sydney Sweeney, CANNESERIES presents this year's Figaro Rising Star Award at the Welsh actress Morfydd Clark whose promising career has taken off since her performance of the Galadriel elf in the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Morfydd Clark was able to impose himself as one of the rising stars of the industry. In 2020, she played the main role in Saint Maud de Rose Glass, for which she won the Welsh BAFTA of the Best Actress and was recognized as one of the famous young hopes of BAFTA that same year. More recently, she embodied the main role of ‘Galadriel' in the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and is currently shooting the next season. She will soon be featured in the independent horror movie, Starve Acre, of the Hamlet of Riz Ahmed. His other roles include: His Dark Materials: The World Crossing, The Personal History of David Copperfield and The Falling.
