President of the Jury of the Competition Short Series during the 04 Season of CANNESERIES, the International Festival of Series In Cannes, Aisling Bea gave us an exclusive interview where she evokes her series This Way Up, which season 2 has been available on MyCANAL since October 25th, as well as her relationship to the world, comedy and Irish roots.
The brilliant series written, produced and performed by Aisling Bea, « This Way Up » – awarded at BAFTA – was recently broadcast on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, Canal+ in France and HULU in the United States. She was the first woman to win the prestigious emerging stand-up competition « So You Think You're Funny? » 20 years. A year later, his first solo show « It's La Bea. », played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, made room full every night, received only dithyrambic reviews and she was named for the ‘Fosters Best Newcomer Award'. Aisling is currently in « The Comedy Line Up » and in the fantastic original Netflix series « Living with Yourself » with Paul Rudd.
