Inspired by a story True. 1942, the world is at war, the Nazis have invaded Europe and the Jews of Palestine are in open rebellion against the British rule. The latter built Carthago, a prisoner camp at the bottom of Africa, where Italian fascists, Nazi spies, or Jewish terrorists are imprisoned. Elijah Levi, an innocent Jewish actor, is imprisoned in Carthago. There, he'll find out that the camp commander's wife is none other than her former mistress, Helena. They know that if they do, they'll both die. Elijah, desperate, joins forces with the famous Nazi spy Thomas Edinburgh. Together, they will prepare one of the most daring escapes in World War II history.
